I’ve been often told that “it’s all a game of influence and popularity. Keep posting and “reach a wide audience.”

So I tried! However, what fits for some is not a fit for others. I soon realised that posting for the sake of keeping current isn’t on the top of my list 😊

Instead, what I’ve concluded is that— whether in business or the arts— in order to truly bring value, what you offer needs to be significant. Most of all, it needs to mean something to you.

This might make you laugh— I often cringe when I post about myself on social media. All my life, I was taught to pursue modesty. “Keep your good works to yourself, and let your right hand not know what the left is doing.”

And truth be told, sometimes the demands of the times feel contradictory to that ethos. That’s probably the reason I often hide my thoughts in these yellow and blue text boxes— it’s an internal negotiation on my part to call attention to meaning.

These serve as a reminder for me to connect with people who engage in dialogue. So if you’ve read this far, thanks for being with me on this journey ❤️

Happy Sunday, everyone!
